Hilesca Hidalgo is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 12 years of experience in nursing, dedicated to transforming patient care through an integrative and functional approach. As the Founder & Lead Practitioner of Restore Wellness Med, LLC, she specializes in medical weight loss, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), and thyroid optimization—helping individuals achieve renewed wellness and vitality by addressing the root causes of their health concerns.
Mrs. Hidalgo earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Her extensive clinical background has taken her through Moffitt Cancer Center Urgent Care, where she managed a range of acute patient needs; AdventHealth Wesley Chapel’s Cardiac Observation and Progressive Care Units, where she developed a solid foundation in cardiac care and complex patient management; and Bayfront Health Brooksville, expanding her expertise in diverse acute care settings. Prior to founding Restore Wellness Med in 2021, Mrs. Hidalgo served as a primary care provider, gaining firsthand insight into the limitations of conventional healthcare and the need for more personalized, integrative treatment strategies.
Having personally navigated the challenges of an undiagnosed illness, Mrs. Hidalgo deeply understands the frustration of not being heard by medical providers. This experience fuels her patient-centered philosophy, ensuring that everyone she treats receives compassionate, thorough care tailored to their specific health journey. She integrates advanced diagnostic testing, lifestyle coaching, nutrition counseling, and medication management as needed, acknowledging that while optimizing hormones and nutrition is often the cornerstone of metabolic health, pharmacological support can play a critical role in aiding weight loss and overall wellness.
Beyond her clinical work, Mrs. Hidalgo is a certified Lyme-literate provider with the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) and serves as an active provider for the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), now the Independent Medical Alliance. She has also pursued extensive education in hormone replacement therapy and is currently advancing her expertise through the prestigious WorldLink BHRT Certification.
When she is not caring for patients, Mrs. Hidalgo loves spending time with her family, working out, going to the beach, volunteering at church, gathering with friends, and traveling.
